I help businesses solve problems with practical software.
Master Toolworks is my independent software consulting company.
I've spent more than 25 years building custom systems across a wide range of industries, with the past 16 years focused heavily on airport ground handling and aircraft line-maintenance operations.
I start with the people doing the day-to-day work, understand where the process is getting in their way, and build software that makes the job simpler.

About
Hi, I'm Mike Ethetton.
I founded Master Toolworks in 1998, initially helping businesses connect systems that weren't designed to work together and making their data more useful.
Since then, my work has covered a wide range of industries and problems. I've developed mapping and data systems, including a large-scale project that divided the country into neighborhoods of roughly 100 homes for canvassing and outreach tracking. I also built a crop-insurance adjusting application for a large multinational company and developed custom business applications for many other clients.
For the past 16 years, much of my work has focused on airport ground handling and aircraft line-maintenance operations, where timing, coordination, and usability matter every day.
Whatever the industry, my approach is the same: start with the end user. I want to understand how the work is actually being done, where people are losing time or fighting the process, and how software can reduce workload and make the day less stressful.
